A few words from Roisin about her Quello experience…

It was purely by luck that we came across Quello, we had been looking at bridesmaids dresses in “Lily Rose,” Kenilworth and it was Nicky there who pointed us in Charlotte’s direction. It was the first wedding dress shop we had visited and from the moment we entered the shop, it was such a lovely atmosphere, Charlotte was so welcoming and she just left us to have a browse around on our own.

I didn’t have any idea what style dress I was looking for at all, so I picked out 4 or 5 beautiful dresses. As soon as I put on the ‘Sorrento’ dress, I knew that was my dress! It is a simple dress with minimal detail but I felt it was just so classy and I loved it! Charlotte helped me try on a few different veils and head pieces before I picked out my veil as well.

I waited over a year before my dress came in to the shop again. In that time, we had been to several wedding fair’s and seen so many different wedding dresses in magazines and online, but none of them caught my eye as much as this one. When I tried the dress on again after all that time, I knew I had made the right choice, it felt perfect. I loved going for my fittings, Charlotte and the seamstress, Gemma were brilliant and they loved hearing about how all the plans were coming together.

I loved wearing my dress at our wedding, my Mum and Granny both helped me put it on in the morning which was really special as they had been to all my fittings with me. I felt so elegant when I walked down the aisle, everyone said it was definitely the perfect dress for me! We had beautiful weather on the day and we were lucky enough to get some amazing photos outside and on the beach as well before heading to the hotel and getting some amazing shots with the mountain and lake in the background. I kept the long train on the dress behind me until dinner. Gemma had put a loop in under the train, so I could just put that around my wrist and then I was able to dance the night away!

I can’t thank Charlotte and Gemma enough for all their help, they were just wonderful – I just wish we could do it all over again!
