Julie and Mark
The Dress- Savannah by Alan Hannah
A few words from Julie about her Quello experience
My Daughter Amy and friend Kate accompanied me to find that ‘perfect dress’. I was very nervous as being an older bride I felt less confident and I thought I should wear something simple for a vow renewal.
I was drawn to the quaint location of Quello and straight away I felt at ease with Julie who was very patient as I tried dresses that I thought I liked, unbuttoning and threading corsets must be tiresome but Julie never showed this and her speedy fingers made light work of all those buttons. As the corset was pulled tight on the Alan Hannah, Savannah dress, I had that feeling, Amy and Kate knew when I glided out of the fitting room that this was the dress.
My fitting experiences were extremely memorable. Having coincided with another bride on two fittings it was nice to share the schedule up to date and watching the seamstress turn what was already a stunning dress into something bespoke for her and became a talking point for me, for a while. I was impressed with Fiona her skill and vision was what every Bridal shop needs.
On our day as I walked into the barn I shall never forget the huge wave of emotion that came over Mark. With the help of my hairdresser, Wendy and Makeup artist Ruth I felt a million dollars, my wish was fulfilled everything was simple but elegant.
