A few words from Anna about her Quello experience
The moment I stepped in to Quello I had a feeling I would find my dress. I had always admired the beautiful dresses in the window displays and I knew it stocked my favourite designer, Jenny Packham. My first visit was in fact on a Jenny Packham Designer day and my Mum and I were amazed by the endless selection of elegant dresses, however, I instantly knew the one I wanted to try first… ‘Esme’, an exquisite 1920’s vintage gown. I loved everything about it, the fine detail of the beading and pearls, the way it fell and clung to all the right places! Yet despite its glamour, the dress exuded a simple elegance that I had been looking for. Getting married in a Church meant I wanted gown that was demure as well as dramatic and it met this criteria perfectly.
Choosing my dress in Quello felt like such a personal experience. Being the only people in the beautiful boutique shop coupled with Charlotte’s expert advice and endless patience made it feel all the more more special. Charlotte was kind enough to allow me to come back several times to try the dress for my sisters and other family members. Every time I was there I felt I never wanted to leave and certainly didn’t want to step out of my dress at the end of my fittings!
On my wedding day itself, ‘Esme’; did not disappoint. The reaction of my friends, family and most importantly my husband was incredible and reaffirmed my suspicion that I had chosen the best dress for me. It so perfectly suited our relaxed country wedding and helped me feel serene on the day. I will always look back on the experience of buying my dress as one of the most exciting and memorable parts of my wedding. (Currently it is positioned in my bedroom so that I can see it all times and every time I do I find myself smiling!)
